Administration

The administration division, overseen by Battalion Chief Mario Acosta, provides direction, oversight, and control to two major programs: support services and disaster preparedness. Within these programs, he manages records, payroll, purchasing, equipment & facility maintenance, planning and personnel management, C.E.R.T. training and emergency preparedness equipment.

2010 Firefighter of the Year

Each year, Cathedral City Fire Department officers and peers elect one individual whom they felt demonstrated outstanding leadership skills, initiative, being active in and beyond the department, and proven innovative problem solving abilities. Firefighter/Paramedic Kino Suarez was chosen among his peers.
